#321 of 365 for Sunday Nov 8, 2012

I loved this old barn.   Such character I see here.  It's paint is faded and almost gone, many shingles are missing, the others are rough and loose,  the tin  on the roof has been blown loose and edges are peeling upward, boards are missing and askew, it seems to forgotten.

  1. I think the artist in each of us romanticizes these old barns, but there is a part of me that is sadden by its less functional status and reminiscence its 'hay days' so to speak; a time when it was the bell of the ball.
