Well I have been stalking the dragon flies again. Today I could only get rear or side views :) Every dragonfly I tried to shoot was landing on vegetation sticking up out of the water along the river bank about 3-4 feet from the bank. Not one of them would land facing forward or toward me. I positioned myself everyway possible and even leaned over the edge but could not get in front of those pesky little bugs. Oh well I guess it is best to document all views :)

Very nice shot - every time I get close they take off. (and by "they" I mean "one" - haven't seen many so far this year)
