We were sitting near the Pine River enjoying the colors of fall displayed so beautifully when all of a sudden my husband noticed this Great Blue Heron sitting up in a tree across the river. It is not the greatest shot as the distance really pushed the limits of my lens but it shows how well they are designed for camouflage.
He's lovely!
ReplyDeleteHey, down below you have a photo for September 31. I didn't get that day this year. Could you let me know how to access it next year? I could really use the extra day. He he he! thought you would want to know since it will get your numbering all off on your project 365.
I almost missed the heron, thought it was a big branch. ;) HAve a great day1
ReplyDeleteSusan Yay! I wasn't as far behind as I thought I was :)
ReplyDeleteI will fix it.
Now that is what I call camouflage - much better than the silly outfits created for hunters.
ReplyDeleteThey are such beautiful birds... I didn't know they were such great camouflagers!
