I was walking along the edge of Pine River hoping to find some cattails or pretty leaves to shoot when I spotted this pretty wildflowers! I shot them earlier in the fall and figured they were gone by now. Evidently they are protected well enough from the weather that they are still blooming.

The wind and rain have brought most of the leaves off the trees. Today as I helped DH rake the leaves, I was delighted to discover this pretty little mushroom.
