A few days ago we had a brilliant sunset and I missed it. The sunset last night looked like it would be that kind of sunset so DH and I went to watch the sunset across the river. We watched the big orange ball sun slide behind the horizon just as we pulled up. It still gave some pretty colors but didn't really light up the clouds like it does sometimes.
