This one is for the "spring green" color challenge.  I am in Michigan right now so there is very little chance of finding anything "spring" green colored growing outside so I thought I would look in a Crayola box........  sure enough there it was :)

Abbi loves to sleep in our laps but when we are up and about she curls up in a little ball on a cushion and snoozes.

In the summer I always grow a garden and have lots of delicious, fresh, home grown, tomatoes.  I really miss them in the winter but these little grape tomatoes are the closest thing I can find at the grocery store.  The big tomatoes, from the store, in the winter,  just do not taste good at all.  I have even been known to slice these little tomatoes up to put on a sandwich :)

This picture is also for Krisztina K's challenge "fill the frame".  This is our little yorkie Abbi.  She was all curled up in a ball trying to take a nap and I am sure she thought I was crazy getting so close to her with the camera :)

This photo is for Krisztina K's challenge "communication".  This is one of several old letters my Aunt Venus wrote to me the spring and summer before she died. She has been gone for about 10 years and  I treasure my letters from her.  I found within the letters so many little tid bits of information about my grandmother & grandfather.  They both died before I was born and it was so delightful to share the connection to them with my Aunt, and to hear her tell about them.  She was 88 years old when she wrote these letters.  She loved gardening and I was sending her a picture of my garden every few days.
